But not that serious. Lone Star Ladder is designed with fun in mind. Anytime we're able to get outside, move our bodies around a tennis court with other fans of the game? That's a good little day.
To our knowledge, no one is launching from our platform to Centre Court at Wimbledon, so let's keep it fun and light out there. A few basics on logistics and rules are listed below but the number one rule is to act like the opponent you wish you were playing.
There are many online resources available discussing the rules of tennis, from scoring to how to play.
Instead of going over those details on this website, we will focus on the rules and general etiquette associated with participating in the Lone Star Ladder. If you are looking for rules associated with the game, we recommend checking out the Tennis Rules and Regulations page from the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
Note: this Spring is our 'test' season so we will likely have a mix of levels playing within it just to check the software, app, and experience. Going forward, the ladders will be separated by levels (similar to what you would see in USTA).

If a player is more than 15 minutes late, it will be considered a forfeit, and the forfeit rules will apply
